Ghada Abou Jaoude


Ghada is an experienced AML/CFT compliance analyst with more than 25 years’ experience working in financial institutions. Prior to joining Eptalex, she assumed the AML/CFT responsibilities of FNB Capital SAL. She has experience dealing with regulators, internal auditors and in the implementation of AML transaction monitoring systems. She has attended several international conferences, workshops and forums related to various fields across the AML and regulatory compliance, and holds her CAMS-AUDIT certifications through ACAMS.
She has been a Senior Controller at the Lebanese Canadian Bank for over twenty years, and has ten years’ banking experience in credit administration, where she oversaw the control of retail files. Ghada also worked as Operational Risk Officer at BSL. She has lead the business activities of the Youth Department at the Lebanese Red Cross and the administration of the Netherlands Red Cross. Furthermore, she has held teaching positions including delivering the ‘Banking Operations’ course at Saint Joseph University, as well as the ‘Lebanese Financial Regulation’ course at the Association of Banks in Lebanon (ABL).
As a charitable cause activist, she has obtained a diploma in Spiritual Care from the Saint Joseph University, as well as a mediation certificate from the same institution.
