Giuseppe manages the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Proceedings department of the Eptalex Office in Milan and is on of the two founding partners of the firm “Battaglia e Bina Avvocati Associati” with offices in Varese.

Over the course of his career he has gained experience in bankruptcy and insolvency law, assisting the insolvency practitioners, both in the out-of-court phases and in all types of litigation. For several years he has worked as a legal advisor for the insolvency practitioners of some big insolvent companies (amministrazioni straordinarie di grandi imprese in crisi).

He commonly deals with disputes brought both by the insolvency practitioners against third parties, including liability actions against the former management and audit board and others auditors, and by laypersons who suffer the effects of bankruptcy proceedings and remain involved in damages actions or relating to their rights involved in the bankruptcy.

He also assists insolvent businessman or companies in crisis settlement proceedings (piani attestati di risanamento, accordi di ristrutturazione dei debiti o concordati preventivi)

Giuseppe has acquired significant expertise in the management of civil litigation (litigation, interim protectio and summary proceedings) and arbitration, in particular in bankruptcy law and enforcement proceedings.

Giuseppe is also professor of Bankruptcy and Insolvency law at the University of Insubria, Varese and he wrote several publications on civil procedural law, civil enforcement proceedings law, insolvency law.
